Sometimes the smallest things take the most room in your heart.
– A.A. Milne, Winnie the Pooh
Kenzie, what a beautiful little girl you are. It is clear that you have taken up residence in a very large portion of Mum and Dad’s hearts.
So much of new parenthood involves repetition; activities like pacing up and down the kitchen or hall or main room to lull a baby to sleep, rocking back and forth in a rocking or gliding chair while feeding and chatting.
The beauty of a documentary newborn session is that those early days are captured as they were. When you have a newborn, often those days and weeks are lost to the fog of sleeplessness night and gazing in wonder at your creation. As these sessions are in-home, you don’t need to go anywhere or even worry about if/when they will be asleep. You will have a way to remember their nursery, the place you brought them home from the hospital to which may change due to moving or renovations as they grow up and a beautiful record of their very early life with you when you were discovering each other and very possibly learning about parenting.
